This notice applies to the Kickboxing GB website and its management portals. Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and embedded content that sends information to other services.

Essential cookies and storage

These support website delivery and security, account sign-in, navigation back to the page you requested and remembering your privacy choice. They are not used by us for advertising and remain available when you reject optional cookies.

Hosting and security: our delivery services, including Cloudflare, may set cookies such as __cf_bm for bot protection and __dpl for website delivery. These are managed by the hosting service and may change.
Account access: browser storage holds your sign-in session so you can use protected portals. Signing out clears the active session. Session storage may remember the page to return to and is cleared when the tab closes.
Your choice: kbgb_cookie_consent in local storage records acceptance or rejection, when you decided, the notice version and its expiry. We remember the choice for 180 days, then ask again. We also ask again if the notice version changes. This record contains no name or email address and is not sent to social media providers.

Optional social media and video

Instagram (Meta), TikTok and YouTube (Google) embeds on our Social page are blocked until you allow the “Social media and video” category. We do not currently install a separate advertising pixel or website analytics tag. Accepting does not add any new advertising service; it allows these existing third-party embeds to load.

When an embed loads, its provider receives your IP address, browser/device information, the page being viewed and your interactions. If you are signed into that provider, it may associate activity with your account. Providers can use cookies and similar technologies for playback, analytics, personalisation and advertising, and may process information outside the UK.

YouTube cookies observed on this site include YSC, VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, VISITOR_PRIVACY_METADATA and __Secure-YNID. Names and retention vary by provider, browser and account settings; their current notices explain these details:

Accepting, rejecting and changing your mind

Accepting and rejecting are equally available in the notice. You can also save a specific choice in Cookie settings. Closing settings without saving keeps your existing choice; it is not acceptance. Rejecting does not prevent you reading the site, submitting a concern or using your account.

Use “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page, or the button above, to change or withdraw permission. Changes immediately remove or enable embeds on this site, including other open tabs using the same browser storage. Turning optional content off stops further loading from those embeds, but cannot undo information already sent or remove cookies on another provider’s domain. Clear those using your browser’s cookie controls or the provider’s settings.

Choices apply to this browser and device. Clearing browser storage or using another browser means we ask again. If browser storage is unavailable, optional content remains blocked until you choose; that choice may only last for the current visit.

Other external services

We host our fonts locally. The club map uses OpenStreetMap tiles: viewing it sends your IP address and browser request details to that service to display the requested map. It is not used by us for advertising. OpenStreetMap privacy policy.

Facebook and other external links open the provider’s own website only when you follow a link. Those websites manage their own cookie choices. This website’s choice does not apply after you leave it.
