Mission Statement:
Kickboxing GB is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all individuals involved in kickboxing. We aim to promote and develop the sport of kickboxing through robust governance, strategic partnerships, and the implementation of high-quality programs, events, and competitions.
Vision Statement:
To be the leading national governing body for kickboxing, promoting excellence, inclusivity, and integrity while fostering the growth and development of the sport at all levels.
Core Values
1. Excellence: We strive for excellence in all realms of kickboxing, encompassing athlete and coach development, officiating, and the dedicated efforts of our officers. From event organisation to governance, we advocate for continuous learning and improvement to uphold the highest standards.
2. Inclusivity: We embrace diversity and are committed to making kickboxing accessible and welcoming to all, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, ability, background, or financial constraints. We promote equal opportunities, remove financial barriers, and nurture an inclusive community within the sport.
3. Integrity: We uphold the highest ethical standards, promoting fair play, honesty, and transparency. We are committed to maintaining the integrity of kickboxing by combating doping, corruption, and any form of misconduct.
4. Respect: We value mutual respect among all participants, treating each other with dignity and fairness. We encourage sportsmanship and respect for the rules, opponents, officials, and the spirit of kickboxing.
5. Collaboration: We believe in the power of collaboration and partnership. We work closely with clubs, coaches, athletes, officials, and other stakeholders to build a strong kickboxing community and achieve collective success.
6. Safety: We prioritize the safety and well-being of all individuals involved in kickboxing. We invest in proper training, equipment, and risk management strategies to minimise injuries and create a safe environment for everyone.
Organisation structure
The chart shows the Board of Directors and the groups responsible for performance, events, media, welfare and safeguarding, alongside the committees that support coaches, referees and athletes. These groups report through the organisation’s governance structure to the Board, which is accountable to members.

Note on the chart
This is the September 2026 chart and it still shows twelve director positions. One of those — Vice President — is currently vacant following a resignation and will be filled at the Board elections in 2027, when the chart will be updated.
Governance and delivery
The Board sets direction, oversees risk and holds the organisation to account. Operational groups and specialist committees carry out the work of developing kickboxing, organising events and supporting safe participation. Safeguarding, medical and anti-doping responsibilities are part of this structure, not separate from it.
Board of Directors
Kickboxing GB is led by a volunteer Board of eleven directors, in line with Sport England’s Code for Sports Governance. Directors serve four-year terms, with six positions contested by election every two years, and the Board is accountable to the members. The Vice President position is currently vacant and will be filled at the Board elections in 2027.
