Kickboxing GB Welcomes Safejawz as Official Partner
21 October 2026

Partnership reflects a shared commitment to athlete safety, welfare and preparation
Kickboxing GB is pleased to welcome Safejawz as an official partner, strengthening our commitment to athlete safety and promoting the importance of quality protective equipment throughout the sport.
The partnership was launched at the GB squad training camp at Lilleshall Sports Centre on 18–19 July 2026, where athletes from Tatami, Ring Sports and Forms came together to prepare for international competition. Safejawz joined athletes, coaches and parents across the weekend, introducing the brand and discussing the role of properly fitted mouthguards in training and competition.
For Kickboxing GB, this partnership reflects a clear principle: athlete welfare must remain central to the development of our sport. Working with Safejawz provides an opportunity to reinforce that message, encouraging athletes and coaches to give protective equipment the attention it deserves as part of their preparation.
From Lilleshall to World Championship Success
The summer camp formed part of the team’s preparations for the WAKO Youth World Championships in Jesolo, Italy, where Great Britain went on to deliver an outstanding performance.
Competing among 76 nations, the team finished at the top of the medal table with 33 gold, 34 silver and 35 bronze medals — 102 medals in total. The result marked a fourth consecutive first-place finish at European and World Youth Championships, reflecting the strength and consistency of British kickboxing.
Behind those results are years of work by athletes, their club coaches and families, supported by the national coaching team and volunteers. Every athlete selected earned the right to represent Great Britain, and we congratulate the whole squad on the determination, discipline and pride they brought to the championships.
Looking Ahead to the Senior European Championships
Attention now turns to the WAKO Senior European Championships in Skopje, North Macedonia, from 6–15 November 2026.
Alongside the opportunity to compete for European titles, the championships carry particular significance as the official qualifying event for kickboxing at the 2027 European Games in Istanbul, Türkiye. For athletes competing in the designated disciplines and weight categories, Skopje offers an opportunity to secure qualification for one of Europe’s leading multisport events.
Our senior athletes will approach that challenge with the same commitment and ambition shown by the youth squad. As preparations continue, the partnership with Safejawz reinforces the importance of keeping athlete protection and welfare at the heart of that journey.
